Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior RPG Engineer
(iSeries/AS400).
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain RPG applications on the IBM iSeries
platform
Develop and optimize DB2 database queries, stored procedures, and
triggers
Manage the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) from
requirements gathering to deployment and support
Required Qualifications
7+ years of experience in RPG development (RPG III, RPG IV, ILE
RPG, SQLRPGLE, RPGFREE)
Strong experience with IBM iSeries (AS/400) architecture and DB2
database administration
Familiarity with CL programming, job scheduling, and batch
processing on iSeries
Experience with unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning in
RPG applications
Solid understanding of the full SDLC and experience in structured
development environments
