Job Summary: Vehicle Maintenance Supervisor at Steamboat Ski Resort
Seeking a skilled Vehicle Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance and safety of Steamboat Ski Resort's vehicles and heavy equipment.

Job Description:

The Vehicle Maintenance department at Steamboat Ski Resort is responsible for ensuring the reliability and safety of all vehicles and heavy equipment used on the mountain. As a Vehicle Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising a team of mechanics, scheduling maintenance, ordering parts, and managing repair orders. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety and company policies, as well as regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

--- Supervise shop floor mechanics and ensure compliance with safety and company directions
--- Schedule all maintenance and repairs
--- Order and manage parts inventory
--- Record and manage repair orders in NAPA TRACS
--- Perform performance evaluations of shop floor mechanics and reporting employees
--- Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner
--- Assist in parts room as needed
--- Oversee all repair orders for accuracy
--- Manage all vehicle shop shipping and receiving
--- Create, send, and manage all invoices
--- Communicate and engage with employees outside the department
--- Ensure the shop floor is clean and all work areas are looking professional

Requirements:

--- Ability to run and operate heavy equipment
--- Mechanical course and 5 years' experience
--- Previous supervisory skills and experience
--- Mechanical course and 3 years' experience with snowcats
--- Ability to interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers, and management
--- Ability to problem-solve in a highly effective manner and maintain positive relationships with guests and staff

Physical Requirements:

--- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
--- Must be able to stand and walk around for an extended period of time
--- Must meet SSRC minimum driving standards and have a current driver's license
--- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
--- Must be able to communicate clearly in English, both verbal and written

Working Conditions:

--- Indoor/Outdoor: While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to harsh and varying outside weather conditions.
--- Hazardous Materials/Noise: The noise level in the workplace is usually moderate.
